Privacy Notice

T360ai operates Teacher360 and is the responsible party (data controller) for personal information processed through it, under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect and why

• Account details (name, email, password, role, phone if given) — to create and secure your account (contract).
• Learner details (grade, subjects, school, class) — to show the right CAPS content (contract; parent/guardian consent for children).
• Learning activity (quiz scores, topics, goals) — to show progress to the learner, their teachers and linked parents (contract).
• Teacher applications and uploads (school, EMIS number, documents) — to approve teachers and provide their content (contract).
• Technical data (IP address, device and browser details, usage logs) — for security, fraud prevention and improving the Service (legitimate interests).
• Support messages — to help you (legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

• Service providers that host and run the Service, including cloud hosting and AI providers used to generate lessons.
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, to sell subscriptions, manage billing and payments, handle tax and issue invoices.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting).
• Authorities where the law requires it.

We never sell personal information. Some providers may process data outside South Africa under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active and as needed for legal or accounting purposes. Then we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Parents can make these requests for their children. You may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa. Contact us at mjmaluks@gmail.com.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls so only the right people see each learner's results, and private storage for documents.

Cookies

We only use essential browser storage to keep you signed in and remember settings. We don't use advertising cookies.
